While talking about female body shapes, about 72% men prefer female with hourglass body shape. The perfect breast size to waist and hip ration constitutes the perfect body shape based on visual assessment. The ladies with perfect hourglass body shape not only creates mixed responses of respect and jealousy among females but also evolved to be universally attractive to males because they represent the healthiest and fertile along with the most suitable breeding partner.
The Times Of India released in its news that the scientist at the University of Manchester conducted a research to mark the launch of supermarket chain Asda’s new “Tummy Tamer” dress and skirt to help the women cheat their way by hiding excess flab and look like an hourglass body shape.
- Perfect Body Shape – Breast size to hip and waist ratio
As per researchers, the bust size compared to the ratio of thigh height and hip-waist ratio are considered as major dimension factors while the curviness and the symmetry of the figure can’t be ignored when perfect body shape is being searched.
As per their opinion the optimum bust size should be DD or E cup whereas ideal thigh height ratio is 0.3 (measured by considering the thickest circumference of the thigh divided by total height). The hip-waist ratio is also plays a crucial role in the hourglass figure, which should ideally be 0.7 (measured by dividing the circumference of the waist by that of hips).
Their research brings them to the conclusion that higher the total score achieved, the higher would be the perfectness of hourglass body shape figure.
The above said opinion is as per Dr David Holmes, a senior psychology lecturer at the University of Manchester.
A survey conducted on the man’s opinion about the attractiveness of women as per their figure revealed as quoted in Times Of India that -
72 per cent of men are attracted to curvier women – citing a full bust, small waist and rounded bottom as the most attractive physical attributes.
On the other hand, 63 per cent of women would prefer to look like curvier celebrities such as Helen Mirren, Kate Winslet and Alesha Dixon than slimmer stars like Cheryl Cole.
