  • Drink plenty of water – Often we develop wrong habit of loading our self with extra calorie in confusion. We mix-up the feelings of thirst with hunger and are in habit of eating something when we feel thirst. This habit should be avoided. Drinking plenty of water keeps your body cells hydrated and you don’t feel thirst too often and thus chances of unnecessary eating will get cut and thus helps you to get your weight loose.
  • Calculate your calorie – Never over eat than your calorie need. Your calorie requirement can be easily measured in following way. If for instance your weight is 170lb and you are engaged in 45 minute of moderate activity of your daily life then your BMR (basal metabolic rate) would be = (170×15)+(45×3.5)=2620+70=2690 Kcal.  Now since you wish to lose weight, you should cut some calorie from your daily diet say 500 cal. So the required calorie to be taken would be 2690 – 500 = 2190 Kcal for reducing 1lb per week. If you are getting confused with the above calculation, then better you consult any dietitian or your family doctor for your healthy calorie diet.
  • Focus on taking healthy food than dieting for getting thinner to lose weight – Lots of people especially women are more worried about getting thin and not being healthy. They often cut off their diet and try to become thin. But they never forget to take some fast foods after cutting 2 or 3 meals a day. They think that fast food taken in less amount will not affect their weight as they have already cut off their 2 or 3 meals a day. Such kind of people must change their mind-set and should learn that fast food has only high calories, high fat and low or no nutrients. So, whatever the amount taken would be, they only can add up to the weight instead of loosing them, whereas the fruits, vegetables and other healthy carbohydrate foods adds up to the health need of our body without adding much fat to it.
