Myth: Pregnant woman should not take fish. Fact: False. Pregnant woman can eat fish that are fresh and have low mercury levels.
Myth: Pregnant woman should not take bath. Fact: False. Actually pregnant woman should take warm bath to relieve from body pain.
Myth: Pregnant woman who carry high = girl. Fact: False. How a woman carries her body is mainly based on her body type and it never decides the gender of the baby.
Myth: if pregnant woman has heartburn, the baby will have a full head of hair. Fact: True. Large number of pregnant women having heartburn delivers hairy babies.
Myth: Pregnant woman should not wear leis. Fact: False. Nothing like this has been proved.
Myth: Pregnant woman should not swim. Fact: False. Swimming is the wonderful exercise for all, especially for the pregnant woman.
Myth: Pregnant woman loses teeth for every baby they have. Fact: False. This is just an old wives tale.
Myth: Pregnant woman should not wear nail polish. Fact: False. There is no medical proof for this statement. Moreover, nail polish does not enter the nail bed.
Myth: Peanuts or peanut butter can create allergies to the baby. Fact: False. Its perfectly fine to take peanut or peanut butter.
